Ten occasions to just say no

When you’re extremely uncomfortable about doing it

When it’s hurtful to yourself or others

When it crosses your boundaries or is contrary to your values

When it’s morally wrong

When it’s dangerous

When you’re engaging in wishful thinking (“It will be okay…”)

When it will cause senseless, needless, irreversible loss

When saying yes to one thing is saying “no” to your health or to other more important commitments

When the only reason for saying yes is guilt or fear

When it’s not your responsibility
